Bill Self is one of the most renowned and wealthiest Basketball coaches who was born on December 27, 1962, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, United States. Self was the coach of TU's Golden Hurricane in consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (1999 and 2000). Self was born close to Morris High School in Okmulgee. Self's father was girl basketball coach at this school. He was offered a basketball award to play basketball at Oklahoma State University. In all four years of playing, he was an honors student. He received a bachelor's degree in business from Oklahoma State in 1985. The master's degree in athletic management was conferred to him in the year 1989. Bill is the most wealthy basketball coach in the United States. Self's net worth is reported to be $10 million by Business Insider and Forbes. Self took over as the basketball coach of Illinois at the end of June in 2000.
